I’m expecting to receive millions* of new followers after this little article appears in September’s issue of Outlook Columbus.  Sorry bears, no center spread.  While I’m certainly no real celebrity, I hope the article helps get the word out locally that all cinemaniacs & film freaks plus all John Waters & Divine fans can help keep Divine’s legacy alive by donating to the new documentary, I AM DIVINE, directed by Jeffrey Schwarz.  So many new interviews have already been filmed (John Waters, Mink Stole, Ricki Lake and even me!) and I would LOVE to have a huge opening here in Columbus when it’s released!  So if you’ve read the article and have ever gone to see a film at The Wexner Center for the Arts, Studio 35, Drexel or Grandview Theaters, we need your help because YOU are the people that keep independent cinema alive in Columbus, Ohio!  Thieves & Shitkickers of the world, I AM DIVINE needs YOU!

*ok, maybe just 3 or 4.

Give Trashy Travels some love on Facebook too!

PS:  High Rollers even get a Trashy Travels tour of Baltimore by me!  Where will we go first?  Divine’s grave?  Or maybe the bar, The Bloody Bucket, that John mentions his latest book, Role Models?
