Happy 65th Birthday John Waters!
The Castro Theater in San Francisco is showing Double Features ALL weekend and Role Models comes out in paperback on Tuesday! And then there’s the book tour:
- April 27 in NYC @ Paula Cooper Gallery (info here: 192 Books)
- May 3 in SF @ San Francisco Jewish Community Center
- May 4 in LA @ Largo at the Coronet in conversation with Jeff Garlin
- May 14 in Baltimore at the one and only Atomic Books!
AND if that isn’t enough then you can also see John at the Bonnaroo Festival which takes place June 9-12th in Manchester, TN
Now I need to rewind for a second because I completely missed Tennessee Williams’ 100th Birthday and the Festival that took place in his honor. Maybe we should all sneak this little volume into some rebel kids Easter Basket this weekend! My cousins are poppin’ out kids left and right so I might just be able to get away with it!
